A truck dangles over the I-30/Trinity River bridge west of Downtown Dallas.
The cab of a big rig is dangling over the edge of the Interstate 30/Trinity River bridge after a crash Thursday morning.
The crash involving two 18-wheelers and an SUV took place at about 7:20 a.m.
The Dallas County Sheriff's Department confirms that one of the 18-wheelers started leaking fuel after the crash. Dallas Fire-Rescue and HAZMAT crews are working on the fuel spill.
Meanwhile, three people injured in the crash have all been transported to Methodist Medical Center in Dallas. Their conditions are not yet known.
Officials have not said when they expect the westbound lanes of I-30 to reopen to traffic, though at 9:45 a.m. two of the vehicles in the crash have been towed away and the truck that was dangling over the edge has been pulled back into the roadway.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
