All but one of the westbound lanes of Interstate 20 in Parker County will be closed for several hours Thursday following a crash involving an 18-wheeler.
At about 2:45 a.m., an 18-wheeler carrying wood chips overturned on westbound I-20 at Gilbert Pit Road in the western part of Parker County, according to the Mineral Wells Department of Public Safety.
The driver of the 18-wheeler suffered minor injuries.
One lane on westbound I-20 opened at about 8 a.m. The remaining lanes are expected to remain closed until further notice.
Wood chips spilled onto the highway after the semi overturned. Crews are still working to clear the scene.
