The Mesh Mask Bandit is believed to have pulled off another heist.

FBI officials say they believe the bank robber dubbed Mesh Mask Bandit robbed a Plano Chase Bank on Tuesday afternoon.

It would tie the man to 18 North Texas bank robberies, the FBI said.

The first robbery happened on New Year's Eve.

The latest robbery happened at about 1:30 p.m. at the Chase Bank in the 5000 block of West Park, a Plano investigator said.

The robber walked into the bank with his gun drawn and ordered everyone on the ground, the investigator said. With his trademark mask covering his face, he grabbed money from the tellers and then sneaked out the south entrance of the bank.

Anyone with information can call the Dallas office of the FBI at 972-559-5000.

U.S. 75 to get Presidential Name Change?

A portion of U.S. 75/Central Expressway may be renamed for former President George W. Bush.

Texas House Bill 3520 by State Rep. Dan Branch passed with a unanimous vote in the Texas House of Representatives Wednesday.

The bill renames a stretch of U.S. 75 from Knox-Henderson to Northwest Highway in Dallas to honor the former president.

That stretch includes the portion of the expressway that leads to the campus of Southern Methodist University, where the George W. Bush Presidential Center is located.

However, the name change may create some confusion -- the President George Bush Turnpike, named after the first President Bush, intersects with U.S. 75 further north.

The portion of U.S. 75 would be named George W. Bush Expressway and the cost of changing road signs on the highway, if approved, would be covered by private donations.

The bill still requires approval from the Texas Senate and the signature of Gov. Rick Perry, who was Lt. Gov. under George W. Bush when he was governor of Texas.

Britain's Prince Harry will begin his week-long trip to the United States with two days in the D.C. area.

On Thursday, Prince Harry will begin his visit with a trip to Capitol Hill. There, he'll tour an exhibit sponsored by the HALO Trust, a group that works to clear landmines and other dangerous war debris.

Harry announced he would become a patron of the charity last month; his mother, Princess Diana, had also been involved with the group, Hello magazine reported. Cindy McCain, who serves on the board of the charity, will join Prince Harry.

Later Thursday, the prince will attend a reception and dinner at the British Embassy on Massachusetts Avenue.

On Friday, Prince Harry will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery, and another in Section 60, the burial ground for military personnel killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He'll then visit Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he'll receive a private briefing on recent advances in prosthetics and visit wounded warriors.

Prince Harry's trip also includes stops in Colorado for the Warrior Games -- in which injured servicemembers compete in sports such as archery, cycling and wheelchair basketball -- before traveling to New York and New Jersey, where he'll meet with Hurricane Sandy victims and attend other events.

Man Convicted of Killing NFL Player's Sister

Eugene Esters has been found guilty of murdering Jennifer Johnson, his estranged girlfriend.

Esters was convicted of murdering his estranged girlfriend Jennifer Johnson in December 2011 at her Fort Worth apartment.

In a surprise move, Esters backed out of a plea deal on Monday that would have given him a 55-year prison sentence.

This has been a speedy trial. It began Tuesday and wrapped up early Thursday morning. Closing arguments on Thursday lasted a little more than 20 minutes. Jurors deliberated for an hour before returning guilty verdict.

Jennifer Johnson was a mother of two children. Esters is the father of the youngest one, a three-year-old girl. Her brother is Chris Johnson, an NFL cornerback for the Baltimore Ravens.

Prosecutors said Esters kept shooting at Johnson even as she lay motionless on the floor, and then turned the gun on Johnson's mother, seriously injuring her.

"This is a brutal cold blooded murder. Just think about the audacious nature of the crime. This crime was committed at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Broad daylight. In an apartment complex where a number of people live," said prosecutor Rhett Parham in closing arguments.

"Forensically there is nothing to connect Eugene to that gun or to this murder. No gunshot residue test, no fingerprint of the weapon," said defense attorney Clay Graham.

Punishment phase currently underway. Esters now faces life in prison.

Toddler Dead After Accidental Shooting

Corsicana police say a 2-year-old boy has died after accidentally shooting himself in the head.

Police said Kinsler Davis found his father's handgun and fired it while his father was looking in a closet in the same bedroom.

The father called 911 around 8:46 p.m. Wednesday to report the shooting. The boy was transported initially to Navarro Regional Hospital, then moved to Children's Medical Center in Dallas by air ambulance.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner's office contacted Corsicana police after 11 p.m. Wednesday to inform them the child had died.

Officers said the shooting is being ruled an accident.

"We never thought it would be so close to home.  Just a tragic deal.  We'll be praying for the family," says neighbor Rickie Holmes. Holmes is heartbroken by the death of his young neighbor and devastated to know it could have been prevented.

Police say Kinsler Davis's dad thought his handgun had been put away in the bedroom, still there was not any sort of safety lock on the trigger.  It went off, shooting the child in the head.

"Childs don't have any understanding. Getting a gun, it's just a bad deal," says Holmes.

Davis' next-door neighbor tells NBC 5 that Kinsler's dad used to be a store firearms manager and had a gun because the home had been broken into. He says recently, Kinsler has been in a phase of getting into everything.

"One mistake can cause a tragedy, and that's what we have here, a tragedy," says Holmes.

Holmes feels the father has been given the ultimate punishment,  "Just losing his child's going to be enough on him.  That's just enough right there."

Kinsler, who neighbors say is named after the Texas Rangers' player, Ian Kinsler, would have turned 3 next month.

Corsicana Police Chief Randy S. Bratton said the department will continue to investigate the incident and will refer to the district attorney's office to decide whether to present the case to a grand jury.

Bratton said the department is looking into "making a firearm accessible to a child" as a possible charge, among others, but the determination of charges would be up to a grand jury's decision, if the DA presents the case.

Child Protective Services has been informed of the investigation.

New York police are looking for a man seen on surveillance cameras snatching $500 from a 3-year-old boy's hand at a liquor store in the Bronx.

The child had taken the cash from his mother's jacket pocket without her knowledge while they were inside Discount Liquors on East 163rd Street in Hunts Point last Friday, according to authorities.

The suspect spotted the toddler with the money, then took it from his hand and ran out of the store.

The store owner said the boy actually tried to play with the thief before he swiped the cash.

"The baby tries to give him a toy to play with," said Rashad Alghazali. "He sees in the other hand of that baby, he has something."

Surveillance video shows the man grab the money from the child's hand. Moments later, the boy's mother realizes her money's gone.

"She said, 'I lost my money, I have no money to buy,'" said Alghazali. "Other customer told her, 'One guy, he took the money from the baby's hand.'"

The suspect is described as being in his early 30s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 240 pounds.

A teacher with the Princeton Independent School District has been arrested on a charge of sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony.

Matthew Pappas, 30, is an 8th math grade teacher at Clark Jr. High School who moved to McKinney after graduating from Ohio State University in 2004, according to his web page on the district's website.

Pappas, who is married, was arrested Wednesday by McKinney police. He was released after posting $100,000 bond.

In a statement released Thursday morning, the district said Pappas has been placed on leave and that investigators said the allegations of sexual assault did not involve a student in the Princeton district and that the alleged incident did not occur on school property.

Philip Anthony, superintendent of schools for the Princeton ISD, released the following statement after learning of Pappas' arrest:

"The safety of our students is our top priority. The District will fully cooperate with law enforcement as it investigates the charges."

A letter outlining the teacher's arrest was sent to parents of students in the district.

Cellphone video of a Texas student's rant at a teacher is making rounds on social media.

The original video was taken off of YouTube, but a posting on another video site has been viewed more than 300,000 times as of 10 p.m. Wednesday. Other versions of the video were reposted to YouTube later.

In the video, recorded at Duncanville High School just outside of Dallas, the student expresses his frustration with the way the Ducanville High School teacher communicates with students. The student was identified by YouTube users and other sources as Jeff Bliss.

"If you would just get up and teach them instead of handing them a freaking packet, yo," the student says in the video. "There's kids in here that don't learn like that. They need to learn face to face."

Watch the complete video embedded below:

"I'm telling you what you need to do," the student says in the video. "You want kids to come into your class, you want them to get excited for this? You gotta come in here, you gotta make them excited. You want a kid to change and start doing better? You gotta touch his freaking heart. You can't expect a kid to change if all you do is just tell 'em."

In the video, the teacher tells the student to leave the classroom.

"You've gotta take this job serious," the student continues in the video. "This is the future of this nation. When you come in here like you did last time and make a statement like, 'Oh this is my paycheck' - indeed it is. But this is my country's future and my education."

Late Wednesday night, the Ducanville ISD released the following statement:

"As a district with a motto of engaging hearts and minds, we focus on building positive relationships with students and designing engaging work that is meaningful. We want our students and teachers to be engaged, but the method by which the student expressed his concern could have been handled in a more appropriate way."

The district said it would continue to be open to listening to students.

The school district declined to identify the teacher or student in the video.
